Personal means personal

Your records.
Your little world.

A clear look at what stays on your iPhone, what you choose to share, and how Bubae handles your information.

Last updated: October 16, 2026

Bubae is a baby-care and personal recordkeeping app for iPhone, provided by Sujith Simon Boppi. This policy explains how the current app handles your records and optional sharing.

Records on your iPhone

Bubae stores the information you enter on your device, including baby names and birthdays, feeding and sleep records, diapers, growth measurements, routines, pumping sessions, period dates and flow, notes, and your logging name. Your optional gender setting stays on your iPhone. The app works locally without creating a Bubae account.

Optional iCloud family sharing

If you enable family sharing, Bubae uses Apple's CloudKit service to store baby-care records and active timers in your iCloud account and share them with people you invite. Shared records include logging attribution. Family members with permission can view and update the baby's records. Apple's sharing interface and your family settings control participation and access.

Pumping records stay local in Mom's profile. Period records stay private unless you explicitly enable period sharing for a family. If you enable it, that family's current and future members can read the period dates, flow, and notes you share. Turning it off withdraws the shared snapshot after synchronization while keeping your personal history. Copies that another person has already saved outside Bubae cannot be withdrawn.

Bubae does not operate a developer server that receives these care records. CloudKit private and shared databases hold them for you and the people you authorize. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Notifications and Live Activities

With your permission, Bubae can display local routine reminders and timer notifications. Active timers can appear in notifications, on the Lock Screen, and in Live Activities. Shared timer alerts depend on iCloud synchronization and iOS background delivery. You can manage notification permissions in iPhone Settings.

Import, export, and deletion

You choose which CSV files to import and where to save or share exported files. Files you export are controlled by you and the destination you select.

You can edit and delete records in Bubae and erase Bubae's local data from the app's settings. Deleting a baby or erasing local data does not automatically delete shared iCloud records or copies on other people's devices. Use family-sharing management to control participants. Turn off period sharing and let the withdrawal finish syncing before disconnecting a family if you want to withdraw shared periods. Device backups are controlled by your iPhone and iCloud settings.

Advertising, analytics, and tracking

The current app contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. Bubae does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, sell your records, or use them for advertising.
