Big love.
Little questions.
Everything from your first feed timer to sharing the day with someone you love.
What can I track with Bubae?
Breastfeeding, bottles, sleep, diapers, growth, and daily routines. There’s also a personal profile for pumping and period records, so your own care has a place, too.
Do I need to create an account?
No Bubae account is needed. You can log care and save records on your iPhone. Optional family sharing uses your own iCloud account.
Can my partner and I use it together?
Yes. Invite another parent or caregiver through iCloud to view and log the same baby’s care and active timers. Each person needs Bubae and their own iCloud account. Updates depend on iCloud connectivity and iOS background delivery.
Can I track more than one baby?
Yes. Each baby has their own profile, care history, insights, and sharing connection. Switch babies from Today or You → Manage babies. Active timers continue while you switch.
Does Bubae work offline?
Local logging and saved timers work on your iPhone without a connection. Family sharing needs iCloud connectivity to sync changes with other caregivers.
What happens if I close the app during a timer?
Bubae saves timer start times and pause information on your device, so elapsed time is preserved when you reopen the app. Live Activities and notifications depend on your iPhone settings and supported iOS features.
How do I set up a Home Screen widget?
Touch and hold your iPhone Home Screen, open the widget gallery, and search for Bubae. Choose a medium or large widget. Widgets show active care timers and recent activity, with shortcuts for everyday logging.
Why might my partner’s timer notification be delayed?
Shared alerts rely on CloudKit synchronization and iOS background delivery, which iOS can delay or suppress, especially after force quitting. Each person needs to enable timer alerts on their own iPhone. Open Bubae to refresh the shared state.
Who can see my personal pumping and period records?
Pumping records stay local in your personal profile. Period records stay private unless you turn on Share my period logs for a family. That setting is off by default. If enabled, current and future members of that family can read the dates, flow, and notes you share.
Can I import or export my records?
Yes. Go to You → Your records to import or export baby-care activities as CSV files. Imports have a review step before saving. Pumping has a separate CSV export in Mom’s profile; period records are excluded from baby CSV exports.
Can I use oz, mL, lbs, or kg?
Yes. Choose oz or mL for bottle and pumping amounts, and lbs or kg for growth weights. Bubae converts the values and remembers your preferences.
Does Bubae include ads or third-party analytics?
No. The app has no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. Care records stay on your device or in the optional private and shared iCloud databases controlled by you. Read the privacy policy for the full details.
